This is our preliminary task. I feel as though it went really well. We had a few problems at the beggining with the camera but we overcame them and carried on. The main things i like about it is the continuity that we have captured. I like the way we have been able to edit the shots that we took really easily as we thought about how to leave five seconds before we started acting and five seconds after so that we could edit it accordingly. We also shot many shots a few times so we had a variety to choose from. I feel as though i have learnt a lot from doing the preliminary task and i have learnt many skills that i can take into doing the final thriller that we shall start after this. If i were to change anything about my input and the way it turned out would probably be the acting. I know that the acting does not make a large difference but i feel as though we may have concentrated on that a lot more than we should have. Also, i feel as though we could have used a better location as the room was very similar to may of the other groups and it might have looked better if we had chosen a completely different setting. Overall i feel really pleased with the outcome of our preliminary task and i am looking forward to doing the thriller.
